According to the 2024 annual report released by the International Fitness Equipment Association (IFEA), the global smart fitness equipment market size has exceeded 8.7 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 23% compared to last year, setting a new high in growth rate in the past five years. Among them, products equipped with AI interaction systems account for more than 60%, becoming the core driving force for market growth. Leading brands are accelerating technological iteration. For example, a Finnish brand launched a smart rowing machine, which can real-time correct details such as users' rowing angle and 发力 rhythm through a built-in 3D camera and motion capture algorithm, with an error action recognition accuracy of up to 92%. It occupied 18% of the European high-end market within six months of its launch.
From the perspective of regional markets, Asia has performed particularly well, contributing 35% of the global market growth, and China has become the core growth pole. Data shows that the proportion of Chinese household users purchasing smart fitness equipment has soared from 38% in 2020 to 57%. The annual sales of smart spinning bikes, yoga mirrors and other products on e-commerce platforms have exceeded one million units. Industry analysts point out that with the in-depth integration of 5G technology and the Internet of Things, data intercommunication and multi-scenario linkage between devices will become the next competitive highland. It is expected that by 2026, the global smart fitness equipment market size is expected to exceed 15 billion US dollars, with an annual compound growth rate maintained at more than 20%.
