To regulate industry development, relevant authorities plan to introduce new national standards for fitness equipment, focusing on strengthening the shock absorption performance and safety protection requirements of products such as treadmills. The new standards specify that the impact absorption capacity of running boards must be increased by more than 30%, and the proportion of recyclable materials must not be less than 60%. Currently, enterprises such as Merach have taken the lead in adopting supercritical shock absorption technology, with their products passing SGS certification, and have completed the layout of environmentally friendly product lines. The industry expects that the new standards will accelerate industry restructuring and promote the transformation of products towards safety and green development.
